French Countryside Okanagan Inspiration Shoot
Last summer I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of a styled shoot in Naramata, BC with some amazing wedding industry specialists. Today it is being featured on Rocky Mountain Bride! I’m so excited for you to see it! The vibe for this shoot was French Countryside. It was held at a beautiful cidery overlooking Okanagan lake and the views do not disappoint. If you’ve never been to this oasis in British Columbia you need to go!
Cheyanne of Communiti Collective and Erin Bishop of Filospohi Events brought together a vision that combined summer florals, fresh local fruit and breads, stunning decor elements and unique tableware. We had two different styles so I designed two custom menu cards for each style. The first included custom calligraphy on watercolor paper with a hand painting light blue watercolor overlay. It was perfect for the outdoor setting and we paired it with ripped edge place cards. The second was more formal and was classic typeface on a satin style paper with a hand painted element. Each card looked a little different and the warmth of this gold perfectly complimented the tablescape.
